I about split my fat gut laughing at all the comments about Little People. How much I loved the cork-shaped choking hazards from my childhood. The simple dot-eyes and line smiles. Why did they have to go changing them?

My daughter loves those silly things too. I bought a bunch to resell and ended up keeping them. We joke about the Short Bus (I have a special needs child so such jokes are done tastefully of course) with only 2 seats. Yesterday she kept ramming the bus driver over with it while her 9-y/o brother giggled maniacally. Oh the fun!

Bwhahahaha about the bathroom comment!

Be careful, Little People tend to multiply. They are worse than bunnies at this house.

I would like to mention that Little People the show is NOT ok. First Arron Neville what were you thinking?
Second why are their arms soooooo long? Third the writing is bad, and I mean bad. Forth and final.... the heads are just set on top of their necks, come on! Budget a wee bit for the better joints!

**Fisher Price your products are great, your show making skills have got to improve!

Yeah, we've been taken over by trucks at my house. Which may or may not be better than little people.

Unless you plan to add a bathroom when you buy, do not even look at houses with fewer than 1.5 baths - preferably at least 2 full baths. You need one toilet for every bottom, is my personal motto.

When we bought our house, it was with plans to add the half bath - which we did six months after buying. But the first six months with only one toilet were awful, especially if we had company. It never fails that EVERYONE has to use the ONE toilet at the same time.

I never really have liked the Little People and thankfully, neither have the boys. We have the Noah's Ark and had the bus but I gave that away. And I'm the same way about putting toys away (when I actually put them away), but if I were you, I would just get a big see through plastic bin and ALL the Little People can live in there together. (*gasp*) That should save some time and sanity and maybe Sam will enjoy letting the cat or the mechanic fly the plane!

Oh ARRGH! You have put your finger on my Christmas angst! We have a Little People Nativity set and the girls keep grabbing stuff out of the LP Castle set and adding to the story. Three kings? Nahhh... FOUR kings and a prince, and a throne for baby Jesus to sit on whith a banquet table to boot. Add a couple of winged My Little Pony's and voila! Angelic choir!

Glad when the holiday decor goes away.

Our Little People colony (the Pirate Ship, Farm, Garage, Airport, Playground and Deserted Island) have found refuge in a large plastic bin in the basement. My son never did take a liking to them so they were better off not seen than piled up in a corner.

This year, he received a drum set for Christmas. Like who on earth would give a 2 year old a drum set? There are moments when I wish the Little People would resurface with a revolt however. It could be at least more peaceful in our living room with them around .....

Sounds like Leelee's first Christmas with the Little People. Fun stuff. And you know, she still likes to play with it all.

And you sound exactly like me with the putting them all away where they belong. Funny.
