Ahhh… My face was a ‘ball’ pit when I was pregnant… I woke up the other morning to X saying “shhh” and stroking my hair- lovely right? Until I open my eyes and he drops his choo-choo on my head. And the ‘nummies’ I never thought we’d come up with a ‘cute’ name for nursing, we sign ‘milk’ and I usually just ask if he’d like to nurse, or would like some milk… but lately he’s been going on and on about ‘nonnies’ I finally put it together!

Oh yeah, glorious zits. I would like to know when I get to stop having them? It’s not fair that I still get zits and am now facing numerous wrinkles lines as well!

Too sweet! I remember mornings like this with my oldest….my second and third got screwed outta such nice moments though. Poor things — they missed out on the joy of poking mom over and over and mom not minding!

I love the “uh-oh” for zits….

Yea, there’s nothing like being examined by a toddler. I have a mole rather hidden on the back of my neck (it’s a gross one, I keep meaning to get it removed but as I mentioned, it’s hard to see and I forget about it) and the kids have each taken their tiny fingers and squooshed it and said, “Oh yuck mommy, you’ve got a sore on you” or something like that. Some of their comments are less flattering.

My youngest would shove her little finger up my nose. She made it bleed three times. Not fun. When my oldest was learning his colors he would point to every zit and say RED! He also said my teeth were brown. Thanks.

Our day starts out similarly except for the dozing part. Last week A stuck her finger in my nose and when I removed it she stuck it in her own!? Funny little people.

Fun. We call it nummies (or num nums) too. And Gray loves to examine my face and pull my eyebrows out with his tweezer-like fingers. He gets the most serious look on his face when he does it. Our very own personal aestheticians. How lucky are we?!
