And Beth … try not to let Sam’s speech worry you. Remember all of the worries that I went through? Email if you want and I can fill you in. The point that I am trying to make is that Kaelen is just fine now. It was just one day (he was about 26 months) that he started making phrases and trying words (he went from no words to being a motor mouth). He can’t say the “s” and “l”’s either but those will come with time. After all that we went through with this one pediatrician, I decided to give Kaelen the benefit of the doubt and would revisit any speech issues once he turned 3. I read somewhere that boys are late bloomers and so far, Kaelen has held up to that theory. As long as he is communicating with you and able to get his messages across, then I think that he is doing just fine.

I love the wonder that children possess. I think it’s so neat that he sees the sky each time he goes outdoors! Wonderful memories.

I remember when Eight was about two, we went to Las Vegas and were walking down the street by Bellagio and the water/music show went off.

The look on his face made me cry it was so wonderful, he just loved it. I’ll never forget that day.
