My son had a moment similar to that. I think Masyn was only like 5 weeks old and I had the brainiac idea to take them to the zoo. I was recovering from a c-section and infection so after three hours, I was exhausted and knew that I had pushed my limits. As I was attempting to put Masyn in the van, a big gust of wind blew the stroller across the parking lot. Meanwhile, Kaelen was screaming hysterically. Once I had secured my daughter into her seat I grabbed my son to find out what the issue was. It was then that he informed me that Masyn was on the other side of the parking lot and that a car was going to hit and hurt her. It just goes to show that you don't have to be a parent to have that instaneous bond of unconditional love and wanting to protect that loved one always. I think that is incredibly sweet.
