hola!!! I only use California baby sunblock on X. David and I use alba irganica kid kind on our tattoo-ey parts but California baby is my favorite by far (and we've tried many!) it is expensive but last a really long time because its so thick. And omg! I'm just reading you're moving! Must read more to get the scoop!

Yeah, I've had my lobster moments... Rebecca Robster. I once let a child I was babysitting get a mild burn. OOPS! :(

Mamacita, that totally reminds me of a time we were at the shore. Somehow Sam got baby sunblock in his eye and it RUINED OUR WHOLE DAY. We had to leave the beach and wash his eye out about twenty times. It was awful. A whole day of vacation spent with him crying and us trying to decide if we should go to the ER. So much for "gentle."

I just went to the sunscreen website, oh my gosh. I had no idea there were so many products out there. Last year we used Banana Boat for babies, no tears. Ha, Laurel cried and cried after accidentally wiping her arm across her eyes. Will never use that again.

I love you too! :) I feel exactly the same way about you. The funny thing about the internet is no matter how much you feel that way, you always seem to feel a bit worried and paranoid that saying it out loud might creep people out or something. And by 'you' I mean me. So it's nice to hear you say you feel the same. And probably nice for you to know that you could never freak me out. For real.

And on to the pinkness. I'll say it again just like I did on that post SO long ago... Over here in Canada it's just not really an issue yet. There is still a bit of ice lingering in my back yard. BUT, I had a similar thing happen last summer while we were driving home on a long trip and stopped halfway to give A a chance to play and run off some steam. It was SO HOT! I didn't really think about it until we were packed back into the car and her poor little face was beet red. I was almost sick. Luckily, most of the redness was just due to the fact that she was really hot and sweaty and she actually wasn't really burned at all, just a tad bit pink. Still, I was ashamed that I hadn't thought of sunscreen or been prepared at all.

Let us know when you find something you like.

Last year I really liked Alba Organics for kids & adults- they were so inexpensive and worked well! And you just reminded me that I forgot to get sunscreen and I leave for Florida in the morning!!
