Art Time
Had some art time at our house recently. Here’s how Robby “arts.”
Put the markers in the cup.
Remove the markers from the cup.
Throw the markers on the floor.
Scream until Mommy picks them up. And repeat. Sam was quite serious, however - look at that face.
And he made it clear there were to be no red pom-poms on this particular piece. He yelled at me if I even dared include any reds in his stack when I gave him more.
Here are some of his paintings. Now, I know I’m his mom and I think everything he does is amazing, but he told me this one was a waterfall. Seriously, I can totally see how that’s a waterfall.
And this one is “A Thunderstorm.” Again, I know I’m biased and it’s harder to see, but it’s clouds covering up the sun . . .

They’re both brilliant.
And the baby’s “arting” looks just about right.
I’m so jealous, I cant wait to have art time with Baby! Arting was one of my favorite things to do as a child for years and years. Arting Rocks!!
Now that is some fine Work!
My two older ones are very serious about their art as well. Maybe we should have art week sometime!
Aw, too sweet. Seriously when my sister’s where that age, their arting was special and always will be!
Those turned out cute! Haddie BEGGED me to do some fingerpainting the other day. I snuck the paints out during Bode’s nap. I didn’t even want to venture into THAT mess with a 2-year-old boy.
so funny…what a good mom you are doing such great crafts w/the kids
He really is a little artist. I can so see the waterfall and storm too. Very impressive. I still remember his frame from Jude’s party. The most artistic one. Look out, Picasso!
