Resting, Relaxing, Taking a Break
I know I haven’t been around. Has anyone? I feel like we bloggers have all been a bit absent lately, enjoying what we would refer to as “real life.” I have to admit I’ve been happy to indulge in this accidental blogging hiatus. I hope you all have been too. And here’s a lovely post from SouleMama that I think captures and expresses my feelings much more eloquently, so let me direct you here and encourage you all to continue to enjoy your family time. That’s my plan for the next few days as we ring in the new year.
And let me remind you to look for those wonderful moments of Simplicity - I have some saved up to share soon.
Hope you all are well.

Nice to see your post in my reader again. I think everyone expects less blogging this time of year.
I’m looking forward to seeing the Simplicity stuff. I’ve been drafting mine in my head all morning.
ah, I love doing nothing, but I am so working today. which I should not type it like I am complaining as my job is so flexible that I am typing a comment from the comfort of my dining room, while I should be running numbers and analyzing sales.
and definitely liking soule mama. thanks for directing me there.
oh, and I am still working on my Simplicity post…
Happy New Year, babe. Hope you’re enjoying yourself!
Sending a belated holiday greeting to you! I am with you on the blogging hiatus. While we all love to keep up on each other’s lives, it is so nice just to slow down and focus upon our loved ones; to just enjoy each other without the stress of life in general.
I hope to have my Simplicity outlook to you by deadline time. It is on my computer back at home and I won’t be getting back there until the 5th at least ……
Our holiday celebrations seem to have been extended an extra week this year - which I’m actually loooving. But next week I look forward to much nothingness.
Thanks for the link to Soule Mama’s post. She always has such beautiful things to say.
Happy New Year, my friend!
this is the first time i have checked any blogs in days and days! remind me of the Simplicity deadline. i do want to participate!
happy new year, beth!
Just sent you my Simplicity entry. Can’t wait to read everyone else’s. Will catch up on everything else once I finish these darn Twilight books.
I for sure have completely slacked off on blogging or even being on the computer during the holidays. I do the NaBloPoMo and then when December hits I’m so burned out and busy that I just can’t do a thing. I’m looking forward to getting back into the blogging spirit next week.
I love your “Simplicity” pictures, and I hope you’re having a terrific New Year!!
