Today is a good day . . .
. . . I can feel it.
. . . despite the fact that my children would not stop screaming at each other long enough to let me actually hear his speech.

They look like they are playing together nicely. We had snow last night too. Had an eye Dr appt this morning and Dad drove me to town. Should have canceled the appt. The roads were terrible. 10 car wreck at the bottom of the hill where we get onto the road. But we watched at Applebee’s having lunch.
Should have said: The accident did not involve us.
I actually got my class of kindergartners to sit and watch for 45 minutes! We saw the swearing in and the speeches. Another amazing thing about this day!
I know what you mean about the screaming. We watched with CC turned on. It was a good day, though
The crowds on the mall were screaming too… you’ll be able to tell them in the future that they participated in a historic day.
The snow is so fun. We have a little too!
We also watched the inauguration and I was going to post about that maybe tomorrow.
Well, thanks to the marvels of modern technology I hope you got to watch it on tv or the internet this evening.
And see I was looking at those pictures of your boy’s playing trains together and daydreaming of happy days in the future… Then you mentioned the screaming. Which is not unlike now for me, so I guess I may as well stop daydreaming now. La la la.
