Wordless Wednesday - First Snow

For those of you in my area - no, these were not taken today, on this disgusting, horrendous, sleeting, dreary snow day. They were from that ONE other snow we’ve had so far.

  3. I have a pic of Jake from last year with socks on his hands and underwear on his head because I didn’t have gloves or mittens for him and we got a few inches of snow.

    as for today — YUCK! we are cozy, playing puzzles, and hopefully starting our valentine’s cards. because as much as I need to run errands, it looks awful outside! stay warm and dry!

    Growing up in the desert, where snow only happened every ten years or so, we grew up wearing socks as mittens.

    So it was logical the first time I put sock on my kids hands for their first snow. We lived in TX back then and I think all the neighbors thought I was nuts!

  12. Awww, he is too cute! We buy gloves but they get lost. Then we find them in the summertime!
