I just stared at my computer for an hour talking myself out of every possible post that came to mind - too boring, too stupid, too much about poop - and then I realized I just need some inspiration. So what better time to start up a new TOTAL MOM THEME?

This one came to me the other day, and I think it has a lot of possibilities for us. It’s a noun, a verb, and an adjective. Whoopee!

The March/April Total Mom Theme is: Light

Here’s how to participate:

Create a post in response to the theme, Light, by Monday, April 13, 2009. You can put up your response anytime between now and that date, and your post can be anything you want - a photo, an essay, poetry, fiction, video, music, or anything you can think of as you explore this new theme. Remember to have fun with it, be creative, and feel free to experiment with your ideas. The goal here is to try something new, practice our craft, see others’ work, and it’s not a competition. The theme is just something to get you thinking . . . and blogging!

Please include somewhere in your post a link back to this post, so that your readers can participate should they so choose.

Once you’ve put it up, please email me the link to your post (not your blog, but the post itself. Just click on the title of your post before copying the link url).

I will also post my own response to the theme at some point during this time.

Soon after April 13 I’ll compile the list of the participants and link to all of the posts so that everyone can go around and see what others did.
