I Really Had To Eat That Hot Dog

I love getting to hang out with bloggy friends. And on Saturday I got to see many at a Picnic with a Purpose, organized by the wonderful Jo-Lynne of Musings for a Housewife, and sponsored by Hebrew National hence the abundance of hot dogs). This was a benefit event with our donations going to a local organization for homeless women and children called Home of the Sparrow. There was a great turn-out that included the lovely ladies behind all of these blogs:

And just FYI - if your husband tells you the shirt you are wearing is “way too big,” you should take that to mean “Whoa, you’re looking rather large, Dear.” Which is why you absolutely will not see the group picture from the picnic event, at least not on this blog, because seriously, my shirt was way too big and I was looking freaking large.

Can’t wait to see all these gals again when I’m wearing a shirt that actually fits when we tour Sun & Earth in a few weeks (you can see my review here). Speaking of which, be sure to go and enter Amy’s giveaway for a huge package of Sun & Earth goodies priced at over fifty buckaroos.

    awesome seeing you. your shirt comment has me cracking up. kenzie adored playing with your son sam. your boys are beautiful. can’t wait to see you for the sun & earth event. hoping i can score a sitter for kyle so i can relax without worrying about him escaping into the production facilities of sun & earth. talk soon :)
