Yes, we’re having a garage sale tomorrow. Can you hear me screaming? There’s no possibly way we can make enough money to combat the amount of work I’ve put into this. No. Possible. Way.

I just pulled out all the baby gear from the garage to give it a wipe down, only to find that it is all covered in mildew and mouse poo. No. Possible. Way.

And let me just say, for the record, that when it comes to the whole “I’m done having kids” thing, there’s nothing quite like going through the little clothes your boys wore when they were truly tiny.

I’ve set aside a box to keep. Just in case. But seriously, there’s really No. Possible. Way.

    That is precisely why I don’t do garage sales. I happily pass my stuff along to friends or charities. And if you are saving a box, then you might need to say “No. Possible. Way. Maybe.” :)

    Hope you had better luck than I! I made a measly $55 and told the girls they could keep it for the ice cream fund. It did make me go through and clean stuff up and get rid of the baby stuff….truly impossible indeed. Mine were never that small.

    i too kept a box to teeny-tiny things. i think one must!

    i’ve never done a garage sale. i’ve only done consignment sales, but have done well there. good luck!!!

    Yes, garage sales are a lot of work. Much easier to donate stuff and take a tax deduction.

    Bleah… I have a pile going in my garage right now. This will be the first time I have ever done a garage sale. I am already kicking myself.

    I learned my lesson — NEVER say you’re done. I’m 12weeks today with surprise #3. sigh.

    We are going to be doing this too. A garage sale. And I’m not surprised that there is NPW that it will be worth all the work… oh well.

    I’ve also been getting rid of maternity clothes and baby items. Even though we are done too there is something depressing about it. Wah.

    I hope you had a great sale and made oodles of money. :)

    I feel your pain. I really need to have a garage sale, but I’m pretty sure it will never happen. Those dang mice - they are the whole reason I never finished unpacking and we’ve been here almost 6 months! Who needs misc kitchen items? Although mixing bowls would be nice.

    I’ve been clearing this kinda stuff out too. Yes, a small amount I’ll keep for just in case, but for the most part, my piles are ready for donation!
