Annnnnnd we’re back!

One day, one day soon, I’ll start blogging again for real. Can I just blame “Summer”? Of the past 5 weekends we’ve been away for four of them, including a week long shore trip from which we’ve just returned. Not that I’m complaining. It’s just been busy.

But I love that we go to the same place at the shore each year and have been doing so ever since we moved back east. The following photos are added to a trail of posts that contain similar photos and posts from our beach returns. There was the time Sam took his first steps, when I saw the dolphins, and then the time we went last fall and things were very windy. Sadly, one is missing though.

We went to the shore the year I was very pregnant with Robby and Sam was a little over two, and I guess it was during my I’m-too-pregnant-to-blog-hiatus, because there’s no sign of it in my archives. So just envision pictures of me sitting on the beach about 2 weeks before giving birth, and everyone walking by looking at me and wondering what the heck I’m doing there.

And then you can look at our pictures from this most recent trip.

  1. I love the shot of the lighthouse, but I am glad I did not have to climb those steps. And the face on Sam when he is standing by the red fence is priceless. He’s got a little “Dennis the Menace” quailty, doesn’t he? Does he get away with stuff because of that cute face?

  2. We are the same way over the summer, much less blogging. The trip looks great. We do the same thing as well, go to the same place every summer (although our sand is not quite as nice. )
