Come forth you Stay-At-Home Moms - A Reading and A Giveaway!

****** Edited to add: Sorry, the giveaway ended on November 28th.********

Some of you may remember me mentioning a book I truly loved and reviewed on Mama Speaks last month. Melissa Stanton’s “The Stay At Home Survival Guide” has been pivotal for me in the way I view my role as a stay-at-home mom in my own family and in my society.

So imagine how thrilled I was to find out that she will be reading from her book at a local Borders next Saturday, November 29th, from 11:00am to 1:00pm! I can’t wait to go and meet her and other moms who have enjoyed this wonderfully supportive and practical book. If you’re in the area, I urge you to head out for this - I’d love to meet you and this will be a great get together.

AND, for those of you who can’t make it or aren’t local (and even for those of you going), please allow me to host a giveaway! For you I have a copy of this great book, “The Stay-At-Home Survival Guide,” and it will be signed and personalized by Melissa Stanton, the author, next Saturday.

To enter, please leave a comment here with the name of one chapter from the book (hint: I mention several in the review). Be sure to include your email address in the field as I will need to contact you in order to make sure we get your name right on your personalized copy of the book. Please enter by Friday, November 28th at 8:00pm EST, when I will do a random drawing and contact the winner via email.

For additional entries you can do any or all of the following - you’ll get one additional entry for each, but PLEASE let me know in an additional comment that you have done so:

1) Blog about the giveaway on your own blog. Please link back to this giveaway post.

2) Twitter it. Ya’ll know I don’t Twitter, but I’m sure that won’t stop you gals. Twitter away. Send those other twitterers on over. Do whatever it is you twittering people do.

3) Blog about the book reading/the event at Borders. I’d love to see as many people there as possible. Again, if you blog it, please link back here to this post.

4) I can’t think of anything else, but if you do, go for it, and then let me know:)
