Total Mom Theme: Simplicity Participants

The following are the posts for this month’s Total Mom Theme, Simplicity. Thank you all for participating! This is a wonderful collection of posts.

Sarah of This One Goes Out to the Friends I Never Had with Slave to Simple - essay - “It’s what’s in a heart that will eventually manifest itself in a person’s life. So it goes with simplicity.”

Incognito Mom with Life’s Simplicities - essay - “I am a woman who never seems to have simplicity in her life but who longs for some of the simple pleasures that motherhood has mostly obliterated.”

Outside Voice with buh-bye, infotainment - essay - “My new resolution is this: enough with the focus on THINGS.”

Mama D of The Tales of Mama D with Simplicity - photo - “I don’t think it gets much simpler than this.”

Kate of The Clean Plate Club with Simplicity - essay - “today we took to the outdoors. the simplicity of snow. it’s a magical playland out there.”

And mine was Simplicity: One - photos.

****Edited to add: Jenn from My Life in a Nutshell with Simplicity - “The most basic human thing, breathing and it sounds so beautiful and peaceful.”

I know I said I had other posts planned on the topic, and I did. But after working on uploading a video (a beautiful video of Sam singing “Away in the Manger” at his Christmas pageant) and then coming to yet another stand-still, I realized I had to stop. It was infuriating and frustrating. It was complicated and time- consuming. It was the antithesis of Simplicity. So I had to just let it go. It was that simple.
