It Just Keeps Getting Better
I kid you not, after our week, Sam came down with Croup last night. At one point in the night I simultaneously had one kid throwing up and one barking like a seal. It’s like a joke.
And I know ya’ll are tired of hearing about sick yuck. Believe me, I’m sick of writing about it, but what the heck else am I gonna say, right? This is what we’ve been doing for a week now.
okay, croup scares the croup (so not funny, but I am dork) out of me. but seriously it does. I am sure you are so tired, and definitely hope all is well soon!
Oh Beth, I’m so sorry to hear that the crap is getting worse. I hope this all passes your family soon. Anything I can do to help? Just take care of the little ones and try to get some sleep. (I know, who am I kidding, right?) We’ll all be here when this sick stuff is over.

Yeah. Croup. We have that right now. It sucks. So far we haven’t visited the emergency room yet. Let’s cross our fingers for each other, shall we?
Bummer! I feel your pain…we’re in FL on vacation and I have gotten a horrible sore throat and painful cough now?! Not to mention the kids have congested coughs as well - ugh! I hate flying…I swear I always get sick from the “recycled air.” Hope you all recover fast (if there is such a thing, lol).
Your poor family! Well, to look on the bright side:
1. it can only get better from here, not worse (knock on wood)
2. the weather has warmed up enough that the ice on your sidewalk will melt and you shouldn’t get any more tickets.

Good luck. Have you tried steaming him in the shower then taking him outside to breath the cool air? It works. Or you can just stick his head in the freezer after the steam! Seriously!
Oh, man! I’m so sorry. That’s crazy. Jude just came down with croup too, on Sunday. It’s the first time either of mine has had it. Yucky stuff. And now I’m sick. I’m just hoping Ruby doesn’t get it. But, I’ll take this any day over stomach stuff! I can’t believe you’re having to deal with both!
